ENZYMATIC break down of clinical residues
Powerful enzymatic cleaning for surgical instruments, burs and hard-to-reach surfaces.
Blood, proteins and organic residues can accumulate in instrument grooves, joints and intricate cutting surfaces — precisely where effective cleaning matters most.
ALPROZYME uses enzymatic cleaning action to help break down organic contamination, supporting thorough cleaning of compatible reusable surgical and rotary instruments before subsequent disinfection and sterilisation.
DON'T LET BLOOD AND PROTEINS BECOME A PERMANENT PROBLEM.
BREAK DOWN THE CONTAMINATION. PROTECT THE PRECISION.
Blood, tissue and protein-rich residues can dry and adhere to intricate instrument surfaces, making subsequent cleaning increasingly difficult.
AlproZyme is a powerful alkaline-enzymatic cleaning granulate designed to break down stubborn organic contamination and biofilm deposits during the initial cleaning stage — even in difficult-to-reach areas of compatible surgical instruments, burs, rotary instruments and endoscopes.
Suitable for immersion baths, ultrasonic cleaning and compatible automated cleaning processes.

Why practices choose AlproZyme
INTENSIVE ENZYMATIC CLEANING FOR THE INSTRUMENTS THAT ARE HARDEST TO CLEAN.
1. BREAKS DOWN BLOOD, PROTEINS & STUBBORN ORGANIC RESIDUES
Enzymes, surfactants and specialised cleaning components help loosen blood, proteins, tissue residues and body fluids before contamination dries or becomes more difficult to remove.
THE BENEFIT: Supports thorough pre-cleaning and prepares instruments for subsequent validated reprocessing.
2. ENZYMES + ULTRASONIC CAVITATION = INTENSIVE CLEANING
Enzymatic action helps break down organic contamination while ultrasonic cavitation loosens debris from intricate instrument surfaces, grooves and hard-to-reach areas.
THE BENEFIT: Two complementary cleaning mechanisms working together in a suitable ultrasonic process.
3. PURPOSE-BUILT FOR PRECISION INSTRUMENTS
Particularly suited to compatible burs, cutters, root-canal instruments, rotary instruments and surgical instruments with complex geometries.
THE BENEFIT: Helps address contamination in areas that are difficult to clean mechanically.
4. HELPS REMOVE BIOFILM & HIDDEN DEPOSITS
The alkaline-enzymatic formulation assists in breaking down biofilm-associated organic deposits on compatible instrument surfaces.
THE BENEFIT: Targets contamination beyond what is immediately visible.
5. EFFECTIVE CLEANING AT JUST 0.5%
Designed to deliver strong cleaning performance at a low working concentration under the manufacturer's specified application conditions.
THE BENEFIT: Efficient product use and straightforward preparation.
6. ONE BAG. TWO LITRES. NO GUESSWORK.
Each pre-measured 10 g sachet prepares two litres of 0.5% working solution.
THE BENEFIT: Accurate dosing, simple staff training and less measuring uncertainty.
7. ONE CLEANER. MULTIPLE APPLICATION METHODS.
Suitable for specified immersion, ultrasonic and compatible automated cleaning processes, subject to validated equipment instructions.
THE BENEFIT: Greater flexibility across different instrument-cleaning workflows.
8. STRONG ON RESIDUES. GENTLE ON COMPATIBLE MATERIALS.
Designed for high material compatibility when used at the recommended concentration and under the specified conditions.
THE BENEFIT: Helps protect valuable precision instruments from unnecessary chemical stress.
9. FREE FROM ALDEHYDES, CHLORINE & PHENOL.
A biodegradable formulation without these specified ingredients.
THE BENEFIT: Effective cleaning without relying on these chemical groups.
10. THE RIGHT FIRST STEP BEFORE FURTHER REPROCESSING.
Designed for intensive initial cleaning of contaminated reusable instruments before required disinfection, inspection, packaging and sterilisation.
THE BENEFIT: A more consistent and effective foundation for the complete reprocessing cycle.
TWO CLEANING FORCES. ONE POWERFUL RESULT.
ENZYMATIC ACTION
Helps break down stubborn organic contamination.
ULTRASONIC CAVITATION
Helps loosen deposits from complex surfaces.
SMALL SACHET. SERIOUS CLEANING POWER.
Calculated at 0.5% working concentration; actual application conditions must follow the current instructions for use.

FAQ
common
questions.
What is AlproZyme used for?
AlproZyme is an alkaline-enzymatic cleaning granulate for the intensive pre-cleaning of medical and dental instruments, rotating precision instruments and endoscopes — removing proteins, residues of tissues, biofilm etc. It can be used in a soaking bath, an ultrasonic cleaner and a thermal washer (washer-disinfector).
How do you use AlproZyme?
For a soaking bath or ultrasonic cleaner, mix 1 bag (10 g AlproZyme) with 1.75 to 2 litres of warm water (20–30 °C). Leave instruments 15–30 minutes in the soaking bath (20–30 °C) or 5–15 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner (20–40 °C); the maximum contact time is 60 minutes. For thermal washers use a 0.5 % solution (e.g. 1 bag for 2 litres — see the instructions of your thermal washer). For single use only.
What is AlproZyme made of?
AlproZyme contains 5–15 % phosphates, less than 5 % tensides, parabens, defoaming agents, stabilizers and coated enzymes (the active ingredient). It is free of aldehydes, chlorine or phenol. See the Product Information for details.
Can I store 100 sachets of AlproZyme for an extended period?
Dry granules help preserve enzyme stability and cleaning effectiveness during storage, ensuring optimal performance when freshly activated with water. This formulation also offers a longer shelf life, reduced packaging and transport costs, and less product waste. The product in dry form lasts 3 years.
