DON'T OVERLOOK WHAT YOU REUSE.
THREE APPLICATIONS. ONE POWERFUL DISINFECTION SOLUTION.
Effective sanitisation and disinfection for dental water bottles, reusable wipe dispensers and selected medical-device surfaces.
From the water bottle supplying your dental unit to the dispenser holding your disinfectant wipes, reusable equipment requires its own hygiene protocol.
BC-SAN 100 helps close these often-overlooked gaps in everyday infection control.
CLEAN THE SOURCE. PROTECT THE SYSTEM.
SANITISE Treat reusable bottles and water containers.
DISINFECT Control microbial contamination inside the container.
PREVENT Help reduce recontamination entering the water system.
REPEAT WEEKLY Make bottle hygiene part of the routine — not an afterthought.
ONE SIMPLE WEEKLY STEP. ONE LESS SOURCE OF RECONTAMINATION.
Designed for dental-unit bottle systems, portable-unit water canisters and other reusable procedural-water containers.
Regulatory information: BC-SAN 100 is intended for a purpose excluded from TGA registration requirements. For validated antimicrobial efficacy, application, concentration/contact time and performance information, refer to the manufacturer's current instructions for use.

WHY PRACTICES CHOOSE BC-SAN 100
1. CLEAN WATER STARTS WITH A CLEAN BOTTLE
Help prevent contamination before it enters your waterlines.
Dental water bottles can become a source of microbial contamination and recontamination.
BC-SAN 100 provides a dedicated disinfection protocol for reusable dental-unit water bottles and compatible procedural-water containers.
THE BENEFIT: Helps maintain hygienic water containers and reduces a potential source of waterline contamination.
2. A NEW REFILL DESERVES A CLEAN DISPENSER
Disinfect reusable wipe containers before inserting a fresh refill.
Replacing a wipe refill does not automatically mean the dispenser itself is hygienically clean.
BC-SAN 100 is suitable for disinfecting the internal and external surfaces of compatible reusable wipe dispenser boxes, including the lid.
THE BENEFIT: A properly reprocessed dispenser provides a hygienic starting point for every new refill.
3. VIRUCIDAL PROTECTION FOR SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT
Targeted final disinfection where conventional reprocessing can be challenging.
BC-SAN 100 provides virucidal final disinfection for compatible medical-device surfaces, including:
- Dental curing lights and light guides
- Intraoral camera heads
- Selected intraoral scanner components
THE BENEFIT: An additional validated disinfection step for suitable equipment surfaces following appropriate pre-cleaning and preliminary disinfection.
The manufacturer's product information supports these three applications and identifies a 5-minute contact time for virucidal final disinfection under the specified conditions.

FAQ
common
questions.
What is BC-San 100?
BC-San 100 is a sodium-hypochlorite (NaOCl) liquid concentrate designed as a weekly disinfection step for water containers — including water bottle systems attached to dental units, water canisters in portable dental units, and the pressure bottles of stand-alone procedural-water systems such as the ALPRO BottleCareSystem (BCS). It is a disinfection step, not a replacement for water bottle cleaning.
How is BC-San 100 used with pressure bottles?
Per the manufacturer's instructions: pour the contents of one 100 mL bottle into the empty pressure bottle, fill it with drinking water up to the thread, and leave it closed for at least 6 hours (for example overnight) in the processing room. Do not pressurise during processing. Discharge and rinse thoroughly with drinking water before reconnection. Full steps are in the downloadable Instructions for Use (IFU) PDF in Docs.
What is BC-San 100 made of?
BC-San 100 is based on sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) with 1–2% active chlorine.
Is BC-San 100 registered with the TGA?
This product is intended for a purpose excluded from TGA registration requirements. For antimicrobial efficacy, application, contact time and performance claims, refer to the manufacturer's instructions and validated efficacy claims.
Which pack size does BC-San 100 come in?
BC-San 100 is supplied as a carton of 12 × 100 mL bottles (REF 3199).
How often should I use BC-San 100?
It is designed as a weekly disinfection step — typically once or twice weekly — with no daily application required. Integrate it into your water hygiene protocol after appropriate pre-cleaning.
Why is it important to disinfect the water bottle with BC-san 100 if the bottle is always emptied and left to dry?
Drying the water bottle does not eliminate all microorganisms or biofilm, which can survive on its internal surfaces. Regular disinfection with BC-san 100 helps remove microbial contamination and prevent biofilm buildup, keeping the bottle hygienic and safe for reuse.
